I Am A Total Nerd

So as some of you may know Breaking Dawn is coming out tomorrow night at 12:01 and if you don't know that where have you been. Well me and my friend Jamie decided to be dorks and attend the party that night but we found out that if you want to get a book that night that you have to get a wrist band because they are only giving out so many. They said they were giving them out Thursday starting at nine A.M. so I convinced my awesome mom to watch my kids and Jamie's son Jaxon while we ran real fast to pick them up. I figured that there would be people there but we arrived at 9:10 and the line was already behind the building. Crazy huh! An hour and fifteen minutes later we finally got our wrist band. I guess the people at the front of the line camped there over night. They are only going to let a 50 people in at a time and they are doing it according to names. The first 50 has Edward written on theirs the next Bella and so on. We got stuck with Rosalie of all characters come on. We are thinking that we were around 500 or so but we're not sure so needless to say it is going to be a very late night tomorrow. So just when you thought I couldn't get any more stupid, I do something like this and totally redeem myself! We plan on having alot of fun and don't you fret we will take plenty of photos of the mass chaos.

Thats me at the end of the line in the green shirt next to the stroller.

TV Wars

Last night after we put the kids to bed we decided to sit down together relax and watch a little tellie. We pretty much never want to watch the same thing so I compromised and let him watch the ESPY's because he wanted to see it so bad. I found myself extremely surprised. It was actually quite entertaining. I know, I know, who would of thought anything having to do with sports would be entertaining. Justin Timberlake hosted and he is really funny. I know a couple of jokes went over my head because I don't follow sports very closely so Ben explained to me after. We stayed up until twelve to finish it so you know it must of been good cause it takes alot for Ben to stay up past nine on a week day. I think they are replaying it on different ESPN channels so if you want a good laugh with something both you and your husband can enjoy you should give it a try. Tiger Woods won for best male athlete and had an awesome acceptance speech. I decided to post it for you so you could see for yourself. Enjoy!

Bear Lake Trip

This last weekend we went up to Bear Lake for the annual Romney camp out. At first I told Ben we could only stay one night since we would be in a tent but my parents decided to go up and said we could stay in their trailer so we signed on for the whole weekend. Friday we couldn't do to much boating because the waves on the lake were unreal. We seriously felt like we were in the ocean. On the way back to the dock we were pretty much the only boat on the lake and we felt like Forest Gump and his legless friend. I'll let you decide who was who but seriously I bet people were pointing at us going who are those idiots out on that boat. It took us an hour to get back to the dock and all though it was quite the adventure, Ben and I were soaked and a little stressed out by the end. Luckily the next day was calmer and we were able to get in some boating with Ben's family. I flipped Ben and Brent in the tube pretty good. Ben was done tubing after that crash so I won that round. I love watching peoples faces when they are being whipped around on the tube. I wish I could get a close up of everyone. Mark, Daina, Peggy, Lori, Kyle, Sherilynn, and the Jacobsens we missed you this year. Hopefully you will be able to make it next time. Here are a few pics from the trip. I didn't get very many cause I didn't want to drag along my big camera.

Tate on Rachel and Kelly's Vroom Vroom. He would stay there all day if we let him.

Ben rockin the wakeboard. Isn't he sexy.

Kennedy and Tia chillin in the tube.

I couldn't help it. I just had to take a picture of this since it looks like she has some serious booty. She will probably hate me for it when she older.

Kennedy decided that they needed to have a parade so she got on her bike and put candy in her bag and took off with Ben and the twins. She told Papa that he needed to stand by the road so that when they came back around she could throw candy at him which she did. It was so cute and she was so excited and Tate about flipped out when he saw candy flying everywhere and couldn't get out of the trailer to pick it up.

Till next year everyone.

Seriously...

Okay so when I saw this I knew I had to post it. I couldn't stop laughing. Is it just me or does this not look exactly like a naughty romance novel cover. Anyone going to the movie expecting that kind of steamy action will be extremely disappointed. Thank goodness the photographer for the film isn't quite this cheesy. Rob does seem a little buffer than I imagined though which brings up the question is he photoshopped? Yes or No. Whats your take? I hope everyone can get a little giggle from this like me especially Alicia since I know how found of Robert Pattinson she is. So here is the question for everyone is the movie going to be a slam dunk or an air ball? Pictures like this make me worry.

Happy July 4th 2008

We spent the 4th doing the usual stuff such as going to the parade, BBQ's, watching fireworks, and of course babysitting the Wren's dog which I strongly suggest you all try next year. It just isn't the 4th without a little bit of Puppy. I am just teasing Michelle stop worrying. My family decided to have their party on the 5th and when we got there they had a big surprise for the kids. They bought one of those blow up water toys and you should have seen my kids faces. It was like it was Christmas in July. Kennedy said "This is the best day ever." So I think she was a little excited. The kids loved it and so did we. We could just sit back and relax while the kids went crazy. It was perfect for kids their age. Unfortunately there was a little mishap two hours in when the blower went out and it shrunk to a foot tall instead of its normal 8 feet. The kids were begging for Papa and Daddy to fix it but there was nothing to be done. The blower had past on to the next life but at least we know that it had a good last two hours. My mom contacted the company and they are sending her a new one right away and my kids are counting down the hours. Here are a few pics before the catastrophy.
