New Kids On The Block Come Back

I know everyone has been wondering if New Kids On The Block were ever going to have a comeback tour. Well I don't know about them but here is the new New Kids On The Block. Ben and I are usually hogging Rockband but the other day we let the kids play around for awhile. It was so cute! I should have been recording it instead of taking pictures. Tate was singing his heart out and Kennedy is actually getting quite good on the drums. She must have Ben's musical talents cause we all know it didn't come from me. If anyone can think of a band name for the kids let me know and yes I am aware of the fact that Tia has no pants on but I'm pretty sure that it is the cool thing to do these days.

June's Book Club Choice

We had our first book club meeting tonight and it went really well and it was alot of fun. Thanks Amy. Well needless to say Amy calls me Wednesday asking if I would do the pick for June and be ready to give my choice on Thursday. I decided I wanted to pick a book I haven't read so I immediately got on amazon.com and started searching. I came up with three choices for everyone to pick from and the winner is: (drum roll)

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger say that name 10 times real fast. I have heard alot of good things about this book and it is being made into a movie so I figured it must be somewhat good, right. The book has 546 pages so its more than last months so girls who had a hard time finishing the book last month better get movin. The movie is scheduled to release Dec. 25th of this year and for those people who want a picture to put in your head of the main characters, Eric Bana is playing Henry (yum) and Rachel McAdams is playing Clare.

So ladies next month meeting is on Tuesday June 24th at 7:00 and my house is of course the place. So get ready cause I throw one heck of a party.

Hooray A Successful Vacation

You heard me right. We actually had a vacation go off without a hitch which has not occurred since the twins were born. To be honest I still can't believe it went as well as it did. Sure we hit a few speed bumps but nothing we couldn't handle. Last weekend we went down to St. George at Sand Hollow Reservoir to do some primitive camping. I'm not sure that staying in a trailer with a bathroom, kitchen, and air conditioning is really all that primitive but hey that is my kind of camping. The kids had a blast and Ben was finally able to get his boat out which is all he has been thinking about lately. He even tried to convince me to go boating when Pineview was still frozen. NO JOKE! I know I have been behind on my blogging but this trip is partly to blame. I needed two days before our trip to prepare and two days after to recover so I have basically been out of commission since last Wednesday until now. But I am back and ready to roll so I am posting some pictures from our trip. WARNING: A bunch of pictures are about to follow so if you do not want to see tons of picture of my family turn back now before it is to late.

Ben bought these boats for them and it was their favorite sand toy. Tate barely ever put it down.

Kennedy and Jada enjoying the beach. It is so beautiful down there if you haven't been there you need to go.

Grandma Woolf bought this hat for Tate and he barely took it off the whole trip.

This is one of the kids favorite things to do on the boat. We stop somewhere quiet and let the kids kick their feet in the water. They aren't quite brave enough for the tube yet.

Tate enjoyed playing in the mud more than the water. The first day he kept looking at us wondering when we were going to tell him to stop doing it since it's a no no at home. Any suggestions on how to get red sand out of a swimming suit?

If Tate wasn't in the mud, he was sitting in Papa's Rhino. He sat there for an entire hour once and would just yell keys every once and awhile. Every time someone took the Rhino and he wasn't on it he would throw the biggest fit. You know how boys love their toys.

We visited my Aunt and Uncle who live down there and decided to have a little pool party. Kennedy was a bit cranky if you can't tell.

Tate was going a little crazy while we were there. Don't worry Ben was not hit in the head by the gun. I thought you would be curious since I wasn't posting the after shot.

Believe it or not there was actually two more people than this in the hot tub at one point.

Well if you made it this far I congratulate you. I know how some people hate long blogs so for those who made it kudos. Here's hoping our next vacation can go off without a hitch as well. I'm pushin it aren't I. Hey a girl can dream.

Ever Wonder What A Three Year Old Girl Would Look Like Disguised As A Thirty Year Old Man?

Well now you know. Tia got our Nestle chocolate milk mix and put some in a cup and started eating it with a spoon. It hurts my throat just thinking about it. She made a mess all over the floor but I couldn't help but laugh since she looked like this. I love how she even has a unibrow. I bet Aleesha could fix that. So she was able to get away with that one which is more than I can say for her slip up the next day. I'm not sure if I would call it a slip up as much as a Hulk induced rage which is how strong she must be in order to accomplish such a task. To be honest I still can't figure out how she pulled the shutter right off. I mean shouldn't they give you a warning when you buy the shutters that says Beware: Redheaded 3 year old girls have been known to tear these shutters right out of their sockets. Maybe there was and I just didn't read the fine print. I guess when we were building the house and decided on shutters I should have thought HMMMMM I bet a three year old could pull these right out of the wall. I thought the shutters would actually be better than regular blinds. Well I guess I learned my lesson. I'm thinking I should contact the Guinness Book of World Records because I am pretty sure no other 3 year old has done this but if anyone knows someone else that this has happened to please let me know. Last week Tate tore off the cabinet door, this week Tia tore off the shutter, next week I am seriously worried that Kennedy might tear our front door right off its hinges. I guess I really should stop feeding my kids their Wheaties.
